At the end of the day, the purpose of this unit is to have fun in a structured environment mirroring a military organization. The duty of leadership in the unit is three fold.
First and foremost it is to set a standard and be a model member of the community for both new and old members alike to emulate. While it may not be feasible for NCOs to develop a personal bond with each member of the 501st, it is paramount that leadership forms an environment of mutual respect. An NCO must become a pin that holds down various threads to link them in a communal bond. Leadership should never express discontent or anger in public view, and if they do in a moment of weakness an apology should be forthcoming.
Second, it is to be a facilitator of fun. This is a game. NCOs in this unit must be dedicated to the advancement of enjoyable experiences within the unit. This does not mean the NCO has to be a happy clown making everyone smile. Administrative work, story development, on-field tactics, and uplifting unit moral. However an NCO does it, they must and should strive towards making this a place that people want to spend their free time, not be an expected chore. Doing things both in the background and the foreground for the unit.
Third, leadership must be willing to enforce the rules judiciously. The maintaining of the unit’s standards is very important. NCOs must also have a discerning eye for infractions and be able to tell the difference between a solid member of the community having a bad day versus a genuinely toxic individual impeding the experiences and relationships within the 501st.
Overall, an NCO must be disciplined, must be a facilitator of fun, and judicious in punishment.

Apologies for this being late it's my fault as I though the deadline was in EST due to it being the standard time the unit runs on. If it is still acceptable I would like to submit my course material for review.
