Sergeants Course Tasking 003: Course written work hand in date will be on the 15th of January 01/20/2018) no later than 2359GMT. The practical (In game) exam will be held on the 20th of January. The exact time will be put out at a later date.
Please familiarize yourself with the following information, as the SGT’s course material has changed.
Sgt’s course candidates will be required to have completed:
1) Zeus qualification: Level 4 (Zeus Qualified).
2) Advanced RTO course.
3) Corporal course completed.
4) Have a minimum of 45 days’ time in grade as a Corporal.
Candidates will be required to:
- Create a detailed roster using the Google Sheets software; this can be based upon your own squad or platoon. Make it look as professional as you can or as simple as you would like it so long as it is able to work well and is functional. Make sure to include member positions as they are shown in your squad.
- Create a detailed functional OPORD using Google Sheets software. Create a scenario with a fictions enemy group. Refer to this link for guidance: http://www.armystudyguide.com/content/army_board_study_guide_topics/training_the_force/the-operation-order-opord.shtml
-Write a 300 word essay on the importance of leadership to you and this community.
- Mock an After Action Review; it will be above typed 300 words. Specify an experience in-game, perhaps of your squads or platoons training.
Candidates will be asked hold on to all documents until the turn in date.

***In addition to an in game test, candidates will be required to teach a class to the rest of the candidates. They will refer to their own created training document mentioned above as their reference piece.***
This course will not be an instructional course. This course will be designed to test the candidate’s ability to control their situation inside and outside of game. This will be an exam not a lesson. From the date of this post, you will have 15 days (01/09/2018) 2359GMT to sign up via this forum post. No applicants who apply after the cutoff date will be accepted. All applicants will be required to have the listed items at the top of the post with them on the class date.
